Alex Slesar joined Jones Lang LaSalle in February 2010 and was appointed to the position of Executive Vice President and Head of Hotel Investments Russia & CIS with Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels on June 2010 to secure the company’s market leader position. In his new role Alex is responsible for business winning and execution of investment sales, corporate financing deals and managing transaction processes.

Prior to coming to work for Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels and for almost two years, Alex served as Vice President and member of the management board of MIRAX Group.

From 2003 until 2008 Alex led the development efforts of Hyatt International in Russia and CIS, and served as Vice President for Development and Acquisitions with responsibilities for Russia, CIS and Eastern Europe.  

Previously, Alex worked at a US–based energy technology company, where he was among key executives to work on the company’s strategic planning and business development."

Alex graduated from the Kiev State Linguistic University, holding MA in Linguistic. In 1994 Alex performed BA in Political Studies at Principia College, Elsah, IL, USA.
