Mehmet Ersoy

Born in 1968 in Istanbul, Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, the Chairman of Etstur, the company which is celebrating its 20^th Anniversary this year with the slogan “On holiday for the last 20 years”, is married with one child. Having involved in the tourism sector with tour organizations he held together with his twin brother Murat Ersoy during their school years in Deutsche Schule Istanbul, he continued his studies at Istanbul University, Faculty of Business Administration (English). He worked as a tour guide at Duru Tourism during his university years, in order to gain awareness in the organized tour sector and understand the logic of agencyship.

Following this two year experience, he founded Etstur in 1991 together with Murat Ersoy. After Etstur’s huge achievements in a short period of time, they blazed trails in collaboration with Voyage Hotels in 2000, Didimtour in 2001 and Atlasjet in 2004. As one of the young and successful businessmen in the sector who follows the technology closely and has an innovation perspective, Mehmet Ersoy also became a leader in the sector with the web projects of jetset.com and ucuzbilet.com, as well as ekotatil.com and istebenimtatilim.com in 2006 and 2010 respectively. Finally, the successful businessman brought a breath of fresh air to the tourism sector with his new hotel Maxx Royal Golf & SPA, which went into operation in May 2011.
